Healing

Here’s the scenario……a relationship has ended and now it’s time to move on. It was a toxic relationship and hurtful things were said, but again, it is time to move on. My heart is wounded, shattered really, now what? First step, Pray! We have to bring it all to God. We have to start the process of laying all the garbage down, and it is a process. I pray for my enemy. I do this not only because I am commanded to by God but because it must be done so bitterness is not left behind. See when a relationship has ended in a not so nice matter the devil loves it and he is going to use every trick in the book to make you feel worthless, unloved and bitter. All of these feelings satan delights in. But God says something different. God says Deuteronomy 31:6 - be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. And I say Psalm 32:7 you are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble. Proverbs 18:10 - the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. Hebrews 13:6 so we can confidently say, the Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me? Exodus 14:14 the Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. Proverbs 30:5 every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Because Proverbs 118:8 it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. The devil will continue to attack. Ephesians 6:11 put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Nahum 1:7 the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Luke 10:19 behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Psalm 118:6 the Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can nan do to me? Psalm 56:3 when I am afraid, I put my trust in you. I know the hurt I have will heal given enough time. But while I am healing I will continue to pray for my enemy. Psalm 37:8 refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself ; it tends only to evil. Ephesians 6:16 in all circumstances take up the shield of Faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. I will continue to draw close to God. I will continue to lay it all at Jesus feet.
I leave you with John 14:27 peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
